About me
Leith is an ACMG Hiking Guide, Professional Interpreter, Outdoor Council of Canada Instructor, and classroom teacher with 16 years of experience. A strong proponent and believer in outdoor education, she has worked with youth in the outdoors through organizations such as YMCA Camp Chief Hector, the University of Calgary Outdoor Centre, RiverWatch, the Canadian Parks and Wilderness Society, Outward Bound, and Alberta Parks. This combination of experience in outdoor education, environmental interpretation, and classroom teaching led to the creation of The Path Less Taken, a small outdoor adventure and education business founded by Leith. Through curriculum-connected hikes and classroom-ready educational resources, The Path Less Taken aims to build knowledge, curiosity, and a deeper understanding of the local landscape.
